Creating Personal Style

This week.

Two prospective clients.

Two different looks.

One is business casual working girl taking it to evening chill.

The other, a powerful CEO doing an interview for a women’s online magazine that focuses on women, wealth and their careers.

The mood boards below represent the images compiled based on a questionnaire I send to prospective clients and anyone mentioning to me a desire to update their style.

I really think I nailed it!

Do you?

Taking it from business casual in the office then easily transitioning to drinks and appetizers with friends or co-workers after work. This look flows into a weekend getaway wardrobe and/or a night out with your guy.

The CEO that wants to be taken seriously yet approachable and on trend for her magazine interview. I used Katie Couric a lot in this collage because she is powerful, well-known, does her job well yet she has some style that not a lot of women in her arena have. She is not afraid to play with it a bit and it shows. It does not take away from the power that is she. You can be feminine, stylish, wear makeup and be running things too! Don’t shy away from it. Next step, researching and purchasing the clothes that meet the style, vibe and mood of these mood boards and merchandise them for a fitting session… Stay tuned, it’s a process.

Live life in style! XO, Lysandra
