Thoughts on How To Be Your Own Adventure

Be your own adventure.

Me two years ago. I was on to something so I must trust that I still am, without the net.
Me two years ago. I was on to something so I must trust that I still am, without the net in that big wide open ocean of possibilities.

Easy to say but is it easy to do? I say yes if you do the work without expectation. The conscious doing of something without having no expectation can be easier said than done but possible. Just do. If it excites you do it and you have already won!

Last week I discussed some pros and cons of my So. Cal location dilemma. I think it is more that I made it into a dilemma where there really did not have to be one.

I am now saying go for your vision relentlessly and let it be what it be! The outcome that is…

My vision to continue building my personal styling and make up freelance business in San Diego while simultaneously continuing to periodically spend spurts of time in LA to assist with the industry jobs that I am not going to see much of if any, in San Diego. I was so caught up in the dilemma then realizing, low and behold, hello! I am doing it! I just think that I got caught up in the whole it-does-not-look-how-I-thought-it-should-look mentality and got all spun up. The reality is that change is uncomfortable, this is a whole different life I am building must come with a different outlook, thought process and a lot of faith. I have a vision and I have to stick to it despite the ideas, questions, doubts, and suggestions from others (and myself) on how I should do it. Although they mean well they often times do not have a real clue either. It is work, it’s blood sweat and tears (I’d say heels but honestly heels have not been worn since I left the ol 9-5 lol, I miss them)!

The thing is it is easy to have all the aspirations and quotes in the world. Lord knows how I love my aspirations and quotes.  However, I find It is my last thought to call on them when caught up in the weeds of an issue or dilemma. One must come up for air and recognize that you really are doing it. Living that life that you vision. If you are not, then figure out why not and find a way little by little to make it happen. Bring some of that vision into your life and continue to make tweaks as needed to improve the feel good but also honor the not so feel good because that is just a part of the journey. Nonetheless make it work because making your vision work is the only option. Treat it as such. I am realizing that. The honeymoon is over!

So I am saying go for your vision relentlessly and let it be what it be! The outcome that is…(tweet it!)

Live life in style! XO, Lysandra
