Took an afternoon stroll to the mall just to, get some sun, activity and see what’s out there as far as fashion, style and beauty products. Well, I stumbled upon a few gems that I felt the need to record and mention to you today. Read on…
If you love Urban Outfitters then you know they have an array of indie beauty products, some more up and coming than others. Well, here is one I have not seen in the store previously, from Valjean Labs. An assortment of cleansers, toners, and serums that were priced so well and seemed really nice on the skin. That Hydrate Toner with hyaluronic acid and vitamin B5 oh my the hydrations and nourishment you’ll get out of this throughout the day! A must try and at $12 to $15 why not.
Youth to the People Kale + Green Tea Spinach Vitamins Superfood Cleanser makes you say mmmMmmm… If I didn’t have so many products this would be on my bathroom shelf. It felt like melted butter on my skin and will be my next cleanser. I’m all about clean beauty and if it feels luxurious even better. It’s a gel but feels like an oil but not. Who says only Kombucha and coffee is cold-pressed?! Add your cleansers to that list! It’s totally vegan and made in Cali. I’m so hippie these days yet hippie seems to be on trend. And no toner required after using this, I’m in!
Clinique All About the Eyes Serum felt so good and soothing. Apply right to your eye from the roller ball that dispenses the product. A great product to hydrate and soothe the under eye area this Fall/Winter, decrease puffiness and dark circles. Be bright eyed and bushy tailed through the holidays!
Dr. Dennis Gross Glycolic Pads are a beloved product at Sephora. Use these or the MURAD version to brighten, resurface and smooth skin. Helps with fine lines and wrinkles as well. Also, a good prep product for chemical peels as it is peel season from now through February. Get your skin right and bright before Spring!
MURAD Rapid Resurfacing Peel with 10% glycolic can be used 2-3 times per week and I feel comes in as a close second to the Dr. Dennis Gross pads mentioned above. We carry and use Murad at Bellus Academy, the beauty school where I’m an Esthetics Educator. Apply at night without rinsing off, see results in a week. This is another good product to prep for a chemical peel in conjunction with Retinol and Hydroquinone. Great as a stand-alone exfoliator for a more oily skin.
I am seeing a lot of faces compacted with sebum. I always recommend glycolic pads. So here you go, two awesome options.
Look who’s new in town! Morphe Brushes is now in San Diego! Located at Fashion Valley since August 31, 2018. Got blush? If not they have Morphe blush palettes for $12. If you want something more up level try one of the faves from Jeffrey Star or Jaclyn Hill.
I just love products. If I had unlimited money I’d have them all! #ilovebeautyandskin
