Just a few ideas for your holiday parties, Christmas and a New Year’s Eve glam up. Just know that whether you are feeling down, blue or just blah, a well put together makeup look is the best armor and confidence boost. So get out there, rock your holidays and enjoy through to 2017.

Celebrity makeup artist Pat McGrath is the makeup master behind Fashion Week. If you don’t already know, she has showcased some incredible metallic and glittery looks this past Fall. Get your overall metallic inspiration (and maybe purchase products if you choose) by viewing her website by clicking here and if you dare, check out her Everything Kit currently sold at Sephora for $150 which has everything you need to glitter up and metallic up your face and body like a professional.

Metallics on eyes… I came across this awesome product that I am excited to try. If I can just make it to Ulta this week! Its a foil eyeshadow by Stila. Check.it.out!
Glitter on eyes – I use this glitter eyeliner from Urban Decay as a simple way to get glitter on my eyes without the mess. Just swipe it on your upper eyelids, as little or as much as you want. You can get it at Sephora but the link to see the exact product is here. I use the gold but comes in a few different fun shades of glitter.

Glitter on lips could get a little messy but oh how cool and so fun. A definite must try! The best option I can recommend is Pat McGrath’s kit as mentioned above. There is a less expensive version for $60 also sold at Sephora. Deep red lipstick is a holiday must! So many options, so pic a shade or a few that works best for you AND gets you in the spirit. I like Ruby Woo by MAC Cosmetics of course or Katy Perry has a nice shade of red called Crimson in her CoverGirl lipstick line, that I also use, which is easy on the budget, sold at Walmart. Cant’ beat it for just under $7!

Eyelashes continue to be the rage, extensions are hot but the falsies are perfect if you do not have the time, budget or both during the holidays. Amazing Lash Studio is a personal recommendation that I am familiar with, or find an independent lash stylist or a eyelash extension boutique that you can trust in your area. Lash on!

Live life in style! XO, Lysandra
