Here are a few recommendations to consider:

1.     Sunscreen: Even though summer is coming to an end, it’s still crucial to protect your skin from harmful UV rays. Opt for a broad-spectrum sunscreen with at least SPF 30 and apply it generously to all exposed areas of your body. Please note there are two types of sunscreens, physical and chemical. Physical sunscreen is also known as mineral sunscreen which sits on top of the skin. Chemical sunscreen absorbs into the skin and can sometimes irritate sensitive skin. I prefer mineral for my face and body however I’m okay with chemical sunscreen on my body as it is not as sensitive nor seen regularly like my face is.

2.     Hydration: As the weather gets cooler, it’s common for our skin to become drier. Make sure to moisturize your skin regularly to maintain its hydration levels. Look for serums and moisturizers that are rich in hydrating ingredients like hyaluronic acid or ceramides. Hyaluronic acid attracts moisture in the air to your skin.

3.     Exfoliation: Exfoliating your skin can help remove dead skin cells and promote a brighter complexion. However, be mindful not to over-exfoliate, as it can lead to skin irritation. Consider using a gentle exfoliator once or twice a week. This allows products to penetrate and be most effective.

4.     Repair and nourish: After spending time in the elements, it’s important to repair and nourish your skin. Look for products that contain antioxidants, such as vitamin C or green tea extract, to help combat free radicals and promote skin healing.

5.     Eye care: Don’t forget to take care of the delicate skin around your eyes. Consider using an eye cream, serum or gel that targets specific concerns like dark circles or puffiness. Note that a cream coats but a serum and gel will absorb deeper. Creams are better for drier or more mature skin.

6.     Lip Care – Nourishing the lips at night with a lip mask will keep them soft, moisturized and kissable. Add a little something to your lips after rinsing your face in the morning while you prep your makeup. Whether it be a balm, lip oil or gloss, consistent lip care is always a good idea. Whether you wear makeup or not, a little or a lot, having something nourishing on the lips as a healthy, pulled together glow.

Remember, everyone’s skin is unique, so it’s essential to listen to your skin’s needs and adjust your routine accordingly. If you have any specific concerns or preferences, feel free to reach out, and I can provide more personalized recommendations.
